Erdies started as a creche in October, 2013 with an enrollment of 2 babies. In January 2014, the number of babies increased to 8.

The increase continued rapidly. We were determined to give the child a right start and with the burning passion to do so, we began our Playgroup class in September, 2015, for the 2015/2016 Academic session, with 3 teaching and 2 non teaching staff.

Every Academic session birthed a new class.

The name Erdies Creche and Kindergarten was then changed to Erdies Academy to encapsulate the Creche, Playgroup (now Pre-Kindergarten), Kindergarten 1-3 and Primary  (Basic) school.

In 2025, Erdies Academy turned 10 years.
